Dental Emergencies

Pls. call us for minor injuries related to teeth as ignoring them can lead to irrepressible damage to teeth and Gums. We can suggest subsequent actions or treatments to prevent any permanent damage.

Knocked-out tooth: 

If a tooth gets loose, it is important to try and keep that tooth in its socket to prevent it from falling out. This can be accomplished by gently biting down on the tooth to hold it in place. If a tooth has been knocked out, it should be thoroughly rinsed while holding by the crown. Try to preserve the knocked out tooth trying to gently place it back in the socket if possible and bite down to hold it in place. If unable to put in socket put it in a glass of milk or water go to your nearest dental clinic which provides emergency services.

Chipped or cracked tooth:

Tooth can crack and chip due to any kind of impact to face or teeth or trying to bite a hard object. If due to any reason your tooth gets chipped or cracked, it must be immediately seen by a dentist to avoid permanent damage. Any chipped tooth fragments should be thoroughly rinsed and placed in a glass of milk or water, and must be brought to your dentist. Apply cold compresses for swelling and pain until your are seen by a dentist.
