Bridges & Dentures

The main difference between dentures and bridges is that dentures are removable. Whereas, bridges are permanently fixed in your mouth. A dental bridge is used to fill gap created by missing teeth with help of adjacent tooth as anchors but dentures are removable set of tooths

Bridges

Bridges are used to fill gap in between teeth by using existing teeth which are strong enough to support anchoring of bridge. Bridges are permanently fixed and do not come out. They last between 5 to 15 years approx. Once you get used to them they just seem like your regular tooth and needs to be cleaned and taken care same as any other natural tooth.

Dentures

Dentures are removable plate with artificial teeth attached to replace missing teeth which fits over the gums. Dentures are removable and also requires regular cleaning. They are not as secure as bridges and might come off.
